✨ “It is a good time to be in Feed.”
That’s what I overheard from someone at one of the world’s largest digital consulting companies during our Productsup US Customer Connect in New York last week — and I couldn’t agree more. 🚀
Product Feeds have always been relevant, but more and more they’re becoming the backbone of commerce. And during a packed day full of inspiring sessions, we explored why. Here are some of my highlights 👇
Kicking things off with AI & Feed Management 🎤
After a warm welcome from Alan Turner we opened the day with my thoughts on how AI is reshaping the feed space:
🤖 Agentic checkout is changing how consumers transact, sometimes bypassing the merchant’s shop entirely. 🛒 As a result, the feed becomes the new product detail page — when buying decisions happen on Google, Perplexity, or even within checkout flows. 🔧 AI is only valuable when it’s fully integrated into everyday workflows. Otherwise, it’s just hype.
The Power of Proper Product Data – Ashley Laing, Pimcore 📦
🗂️ Garbage in, garbage out: without strong product data, every digital journey suffers. 🔗 The right mix of PIM, DXP, and Feed Management enables highly personalized experiences across Meta, Pinterest, TikTok, and beyond.
Content & Visibility in the Age of LLMs – Jordan Koene, Previsible ⚡
📝 How to create content that surfaces in large language models (LLMs) 📚 Citations are a key lever to improve visibility 🤯 Fun fact: LLMs “hallucinate” because statistically it’s better for them to guess than to say nothing (think: answering a random birthday)
Feeds + Advertising = Growth – Vinay Sridhar & Kenny Byrnes, Reddit, Inc. 📈
📢 The impressive growth of Reddit as a channel 🛍️ How merchants can advertise their products via Product Feeds 🔄 Ads on Reddit don’t just drive brand visibility there — they also boost mentions that fuel LLM citations
Holiday Season Prep with Pinterest – Carly Cobbold 🎄
🛒 Pinterest is doubling down on Product Listing Ads as a key growth driver 🏬 New supplemental feeds help merchants run effective local inventory ads ahead of peak season
Rethinking Attribution & Growth – Matt Butler, Bonsai 📊
📉 Optimizing only for conversions isn’t enough anymore — 20 years ago, each click meant a new customer, but the landscape has changed 📈 A Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM) approach helps identify true net new customers and measure real impact
To wrap it all up, our very own Katie Moro led an engaging session on how to turn these insights into real, actionable strategies.
It was fantastic to reconnect with our US customers and partners, and to spend three inspiring days learning & laughing with the team. 💙
