🛍️ Nearly 3 in 4 shoppers (73%) are already using AI somewhere in their shopping journey.
Riskified’s latest global survey (n=5,400, completed Sept–Oct 2025) has some interesting findings 👇
🤖 Nearly 3 in 4 shoppers (73%) are already using AI somewhere in their shopping journey. 💡 45% are turning to tools like ChatGPT for product ideas. ⭐ 37% use AI to summarize reviews. 💸 32% compare prices with AI’s help. 🛒 Only 13% say they’ve completed a purchase after an AI referral, but 70% would be at least somewhat comfortable with an AI agent making purchases for them. 🎁 And over half (58%) say they’ll likely use these tools for gift shopping this year.
Time will tell, if consumers really hit the buy button in a chat, but the data suggests there is enough trust amongst shoppers to give it a try.
I can say that the interest on agentic commerce is really high. Not only from consumers but also from our customers at Productsup. We are currently launching multiple customers on Perplexity which does not require a full ACP implementation and is good to go quite quickly.
