Interesting! Metas Muse can order for you on #Amazon, without ever leaving Meta’s Muse app. 🧐 Apparently US users report that Muse actually browses retailers like a human and walks right through the front door.
Here is what they observed:
True Agentic Action: Muse navigates and executes the purchases for you.
Deep Product Research: To make its pick, Muse evaluated retailer best sellers, price, and stock levels, and then cross-references product images with external review sources. Curious to see if that really works consistently.
Social signals: It factors in your social habits. If I had engaged with, let’s say, toothbrush content on Instagram, Muse would have pulled that data into the decision-making process.
To me it looks like Meta is dumbing down agentic AI for the everyday person through simple usability and personalization. Meta knows how to build habits (e.g. move from desktop to mobile first) and has access to billions of consumers.
