#Platformwars β οΈ This is quite paradox. Our industry is building AI agents that can do everything for us, but the worldβs largest companies are doing everything they can to stop them.
I see more gatekeepers are pulling up the drawbridge: π Delta is restricting outside agents from booking flights π JPMorgan, Citi & Charles Schwab are pushing back on agents accessing accounts and moving money π Amazon has blocked unauthorized shopping agents. π Yelp wants AI companies to pay for access to its data
And I get it. An AI that goes straight to checkout bypasses ads, sponsored listings, and upsells tempers with the business models that drive profits.
At the moment it looks like the hardest part of building a useful AI agent isn't making it smarter. It's convincing companies to open the doors.
