$200.000! OpenAI has confirmed it is seeking a minimum $200,000 commitment from select advertisers to participate in its initial ad beta.
Ads will appear as "Sponsored" modules at the bottom of ChatGPT responses, triggered by relevant conversation topics.
Testing starts with free-tier and "Go" ($8/month) users in the U.S.
The Ethics: OpenAI maintains that ads will be clearly labeled and won't influence the "organic" search results or model output.
