$100 million! OpenAI launched Ads. How is it going?
In under two months, the ads pilots already generated over $100 million in annualized revenue.
The ads are shown to free users and ChatGPT Go subscribers in the U.S. and more than 600 advertisers have joined so far.
But to put it into perspective... Even with that growth, it is still tiny next to Google, which makes around $700–800 million per day (!!!) from ads.
A strong start... and still way to go for OpenAI.
