Amazon Ads goes full AI. At unBoxed 2026 Amazon introduced some major updates to their Amazon Ads Manager:
They created a Unified Platform: It integrates Sponsored Ads, Display, Video, and Audio into a single AI-first system.
Amazon promises flexible Control: It allows for manual campaign building, full AI optimization, or a hybrid approach tailored to specific goals.
DVA (Display Video Audio)+ System: Combines Display, Streaming TV, and Sponsored Display buying. Powered by Brand+ and Performance+, it automates ad placement using trillions of signals and cuts setup time to minutes.
I like this one. Conversational AI: Amazon introduces natural language audience selection, conversational analytics, and agentic media planning. Especially for less experienced advertisers this might be very helpful.
It looks like US advertisers leveraging the new AI tools achieved 25% higher unique customer reach while lowering average costs by 10%.
I see this with all platforms. Meta has been very vocal about letting AI manage advertiser campaigns for a quite a while now. I am curious to see if AI will be able to beat human creativity when it comes to campaign management at one point.
