ChatGPT Ads is available now! Companies with a US entity can now go to ads.openai.com and start running ads.
A first look at it suggests that advertisers can:
1. Create campaigns and ad groups and also bulk upload a CSV file to create ads
2. Measure impressions, conversions, and clicks
Ads are labeled as "sponsored" in ChatGPT responses and advertisers need to provide a favicon that is shown next to the company name.
I will start testing this asap. From what we are seeing at Productsup users who are referred to a merchant via Gemini or ChatGPT are 30-70% more likely to convert. LLM agents become your outsourced sales reps.
