Wow! 🤯 That’s a plot twist. '99% of shoppers who research with ChatGPT consult #Google for final decisions,' said Brendon Kraham on stage today.
It’s quite funny, actually. Google measured that people click on an ad in ChatGPT that opens in a new tab, and then they look it up on Google, as they don’t fully trust the AI interfaces yet 🙈
I keep saying it in every customer call: win Google, win the rest. It remains the gold standard of online marketing.
If a merchant has the Google ecosystem under control, it positively affects all other platforms as well (e.g., #Meta, #Pinterest, #TikTok, #Snap, #ChatGPT).
